Key Stage Four refers to Years 11 and 12 of secondary education. These pupils select a range of GCSE subjects and are prepared for public examinations in these subjects by the end of Year 12.
Pupils are required to select subjects from the prescribed AREAS OF STUDY.

- Decisions as to the number of GCSE's taken by pupils are made in consultation with Heads of Department/Year Head and parents.
- Careers Education is taught in a modular fashion to all pupils throughout Key Stage Four and a major careers day is given for Year 12 pupils.
- The Learning Support Department along with the Curriculum Committee regularly reviews and updates curricular provision in Key Stage 4 to ensure its relevance and accessibility for all pupils.
