- All Key Stage Three pupils follow a structured programme in Information Technology. In addition groups of Year 10 pupils take an examination in Information Technology (C.C.I.T.).
- Some Key Stage Three pupils (Year 10) take up Spanish as a third language to widen their choice of GCSE subjects in Years 11 and 12.
- Modules of Library Skills/Careers Education/Drugs Education sessions are delivered throughout the Key Stage. These are used to support the Educational Themes outlined in the Northern Ireland Curriculum.
- In Key Stage Three a system of broad banding is operated. This ensures that very able pupils undertake challenging programmes of study and facilitates the full development of every pupil.
