Caring & Sharing at Saint Catherine’s College

The motto of the international network of Sacred Heart Schools Cor Unum (One Heart) is at the core of the work done in all its schools. The student body of St. Catherine’s College wholeheartedly embraced this year’s Sacred Heart Goal of “Community” by raising a fantastic total of £9,000 for two very worthy causes- £5,000 for the Samaritans, Portadown branch and £4,000 for the Sacred Heart school project in Uganda.

These St Catherine’s College pupils, all Stage Stars Youth Theatre members, raised the amazing sum of £1,110, proceeds of a raffle, during their Christmas Concert Evening held in the school.

Odhrán Mac Anfraidh and Caitlin Ní Dhuibh representing 12I students from Colaiste Chaitriona who hosted a coffee morning to support our Sacred Heart Goal of Commnunity.

A football match between staff and students at St Catherine’s College, Armagh was an overwhelming success. The event, which was the brainchild of Casey Daibhis, Senior Ambassador for Colaiste Chaitriona, and his committee, raised the magnificent sum of £2,040 for the Samaritans.
