Spring Sonorous Success for Saint Catherine’s College.

 

Congratulations to St Catherine’s College Senior Choir which recently won first place in Bangor International Choral Festival.

 

At Bangor International Choral Festival, Niamh Donnelly (Year 14) accepts the winning Award from adjudicator Lucy Griffiths, on behalf of St Catherine’s College Senior Choir.

 

After performing at the Spring Concert, Saint Catherine’s College Junior Choir poses for a picture with Musical Director Ms Siobhan Mallon. The choir sang “Pure Imagination” and “Dancing Queen”.

 

Musical Director Ms Siobhan Mallon is pictured with Saint Catherine’s College Main Choir who regaled the audience at the Spring Concert 2017 with beautiful renditions of “Prayer of the Children” and “One Short Day”.

 

At the Spring Concert held recently in Saint Catherine’s College, the orchestra performed “Spring” from The Four Seasons (Vivaldi) and Love Yourself (Justin Beiber). The students are pictured with their Musical Director Dr Eunan McCreesh.

 

The Traditional Group played lively reels and jigs including “Lucy Fare’s Barn Dance” and “The Road to Lisdoonvarna” at the Spring Concert in Saint Catherine’s College. Head of Music in the school, Dr Eunan McCreesh (right) and Music teacher Siobhan Mallon were joined by Eleanor Hughes, Head of Vocational Education, (back right) and Damian Mullan, Technology Dept.
