Pictured here is Esraa Malki, a Year 9 pupil from St. Catherine’s College. Esraa was awarded second place in CADA’s (Coalition of Aid & Development Agencies Northern Ireland) One World Festival Poetry Competition for her poem on the topic of Displacement, Migration and Movement. Out of 40 entries for her poetry category, Esraa was one of two runners-up to receive a £25.00 Book Voucher. Her poem can be read on the One World Festival website:
