We are delighted to announce that St. Catherine’s College has been awarded CyberFirst Gold Status by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). This is the highest level of recognition in the CyberFirst Schools/Colleges Programme and we are proud to be one of only a small number of schools in Northern Ireland to achieve Gold and the first school in Armagh to receive this prestigious award.

CyberFirst Gold recognises schools that deliver outstanding digital and cyber-security education. Our award reflects the strength of our computing curriculum, our commitment to building digital skills across all year groups and our involvement in cyber-focused clubs, events and enrichment activities. To achieve this status, we demonstrated excellence in digital learning, staff development and engagement with industry and cyber-security initiatives.

This recognition now connects us to a strong network of cyber-security partners and provides even more opportunities, resources and pathways for our pupils. We are extremely proud of this achievement, which highlights our school as a regional leader in cyber education and reinforces our commitment to preparing pupils for the digital world.

Your breakdown of the CyberFirst Gold Award at Catherine’s College is impressive. Reminds me of how steal a brainrot challenges me to think strategically in each level.
