‘NEW’ SCHOOL NEWS

A new, modern, fit-for-purpose school is on the horizon!

Education Minister Michelle McIlveen has announced that St. Catherine’s College, Armagh, will be one of the schools which will benefit from a major capital investment in the region of £33m. Although the project will not be completed until towards the end of this decade and into the next, the future of Sacred Heart Education in Co. Armagh is exciting.

Reacting to the news, St Catherine’s principal, Mrs Noeleen Tiffney, said: “Today’s announcement by the Education Minister is welcomed by everyone in our school community.

“Major Capital investment will ensure an enhanced educational experience for pupils of Saint Catherine’s College for many years to come. I look forward to meeting with Department Officials to discuss potential options.”
