Saint Catherine’s College Celebrates A-Level Results 2022

A-Level Results Day 2022 in Saint Catherine’s College brought success and relief to the majority of its pupils in what has been a very tough and challenging year for all involved. Students, their families and staff gathered at the College to celebrate the pupils’ hard-earned success across a range of subjects and study pathways.

Some of the happy faces of the 23 pupils who received 3 straight A/A* grades at A-Level.

Pictured here are the Grew twins, Katie and Lucy , who secured a stellar 4 A* grades and 2 A grades between them! The twins studied the same subjects and are now heading to Queens University in Belfast together.

Esmee O’Donnell is thrilled to have secured her place to study Law at the prestigious Oxford University, London.

Some of the thrilled Year 14 pupils who celebrated their GCE success with their dedicated pastoral team, Mrs Monique Rennie (Head of Sixth Form) and Miss Gemma Gildernew (Head of Year).

Ellie McQuade bravely opens her envelope to reveal her ace A-Level grades. Ellie is going to UU to study Occupational Therapy.

Friends Follow Their Dreams Across the Water.

Pictured here are four friends who are heading to different universities in England: Eabha Houlihan is heading to London to study Business; Esmee O’Donnell will grace the halls of the prestigious Oxford University ; Annie McVeigh is excited to be heading to Hull to study Marine Biology and Gabriela Mazgyte is 7heading to Brighton to study Biomedical Sciences.

STEM Success

Pharmacists of the Future: Hannah McDermott and Lucy Murtagh who secured 6 top A-Level grades.

Maram Alissa had a very different pathway to success. As a Syrian refugee who arrived in Northern Ireland in 2016 with barely a word of English, Maram is now able to pursue her dreams of becoming an architect at the University of Ulster. She is pictured her with her overjoyed parents and family.

Fashion Forward: Austeja Zelenkovaite furthers her passion for fashion at the London School of Fashion
