St Catherine’s College were delighted to host the return of past pupil, Carrie Donaghy to speak with Sixth Form students about her inspirational career in the dynamic world of Formula One.

Carrie left St Catherine’s in 2006 to pursue a law degree in Northumbria and today is the most senior legal counsel for the Mercedes Formula One Team, working with iconic household names in the sport, including Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.

Carrie spoke of taking that leap of faith to attend university on her own in England, climbing the ladder following an internship with Mercedes and of the values instilled in her during her education in St Catherine’s College to work hard, seize opportunities and push herself to achieve.
